BMW IBU World Cup 2019-2020: Ticket Information

BMW IBU World Cup 2019-2020: Ticket Information

In the middle of June, winter might seem like a long time away and the 2019-2020 Biathlon Season won't be starting until late November. But that doesn't mean preparations for the next season aren't already underway. Federations, Athletes and Local Organising Committees are beginning to gear up for what is bound to be an exciting winter - and right now is the right time to start planning to be a part of it.

Many places have either opened or are going to open the ticket sales for the next winter. We will go through the 9 World Cup stops and the World Championships in Antholz one at a time and let you know when, where and how you can make sure you are part of the excitement that's watching biathlon live.

After last year's season start in Pokljuka and the IBU World Championships Biathlon in Östersund this March, the Swedish city in Jämtland is hosting the first World Cup of the season again with an extended program during the first weekend!

Tickets are already available for purchase for all competitions and the entire week.

  • BMW IBU World Cup Stage 2 Hochfilzen: 13 - 15 December 2019

  • BMW IBU World Cup Stage 4 Oberhof: 9 - 12 January 2020

But before all that, the tickets for next year's World Cup will go on sale on 29 June 2019.

  • BMW IBU World Cup Stage 5 Ruhpolding: 15 - 19 January 2020

After Oberhof comes Ruhpolding and as always, the town in Bavaria will be the centre of biathlon attention in the middle of January.

Ticket sales have already begun for the 5-day passes while the remaining tickets go on sale from 3 July 2019 onwards.

  • BMW IBU World Cup Stage 6 Pokljuka: 23 - 26 January 2020

March kicks off in the biggest biathlon arena of the World in Nove Mesto Na Morave. Over 100,000 spectators attended the competitions before Christmas 2018.
